Since launching Moreland Photography in 1985, Mike has gained worldwide acclaim as an artistic, innovative wedding photojournalist. Winning top honors in international, national and statewide photography contests, Mike has been referred to as “one of the country’s top wedding photographers” by his professional peers. Rangefinder Magazine stated if Mike was a singer he would have a top ten hit in the country charts and the pop charst at the same time” His style reflects a rare blend of art and technology – from classic to edgy.

He is a professional with high standards and a passion for details, yet has an extremely “down-to-earth” personality. He takes time to get to know each client on a more personal level, and works in a manner that help his subjects feel comfortable in front of a camera. With an artful eye and a desire to create meaningful memories, Mike also strives to convey a couple’s wedding story in a manner that is highly personal and unique to them.

An Atlanta native, Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial photography from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Mike is civic-minded and professionally connected. He is a member of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, Atlanta Wedding Guild, Roswell Wedding Council, American Society of Media Photographers, Professional Photographers of America, Nikon Professional Services, The Roswell Visitor’s Bureau and The Optimist Club of Roswell.
